Ingredients
4 pounds collard greens
3 cups low-sodium chicken broth
1 medium onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, crushed
a pinch of red pepper flakes

Directions
- Wash and cut collard greens. Place in a large stock pot; add all other ingredients and enough water to cover.
- Simmer over medium heat until tender, about 1 hour. Stir occasionally.
